Hand Blown Green Glass Legend of the Pickle Tradition Ornament

We started a new tradition. Whoever finds the pickle on the tree receives another present. It was real hard to see the ornament on the tree with its lights on, but that added to the fun.

As the timeless legend says, a pickle, a symbol of good luck, is to be the last ornament placed on your decorated Christmas tree. On Christmas morning, the first child to find the pickle receives an extra gift from Santa. This teaches children to appreciate all the beauty and tradition of the Christmas tree, rather than rushing to see what Santa has left! Be the first to start this tradition in your family. These are also great and unique party favors and gifts!

This ornament was exactly what I was looking for. It was a gift and the recipient was very pleased. It came well packaged and in a timely fashion. It is a small size but that is what I wanted. I just wish it came in a box or container that I could store it in from year to year.

This item was the perfect Christmas gift for a family to have some fun. The tradition behind the pickle was explained on a card that came with the package.

The pickle that my parents bought at Epcot was the size of maybe a dill pickle, so it's a little harder to hide. This one is great, about the size of a Gherkin, so it's so easy to hide. It's perfect for starting a tradition of your own or giving as a gift. I love it!
